“A strong nation, like a strong person, can afford to be gentle, firm, thoughtful and restrained. It can afford to extend a helping hand to others. It’s a weak nation, like a weak person, that must behave with bluster and boasting and rashness and other signs of insecurity.”
Those were the words of the late Jimmy Carter, a true Christian man and a far more principled man than the present incumbent of the White House. Trump isn’t a strong leader, he is a very weak leader who has to act tough to make up for it, and he’s not making America great again he’s doing untold damage to a once great nation. One day, Americans – and many Christians in the UK – will look back and wonder how they ever allowed themselves to be deceived into supporting him.
