Regular readers of this blog will be familiar with my commitment to the Church in both Sudan and South Sudan. Both these nations have been ravaged by conflict and suffering for many years and the news, at least that portrayed by the secular media, is almost unrelentingly bad. There is no doubt that the suffering of many is incomprehensible for us in the relatively comfortable, affluent and peaceful west.
But there is some really good news! I have recently received these pictures and share them with permission. They show large crowds of Arabs in a major city in Sudan listening to Pastor Suliman Hassan Suliman preaching. Please pray that this great work will continue, and continue to bear much fruit. Pray too for the protection of Pastor Suliman and others involved.
